    Just so you know, that is a lyric from The Futile by Say Anything. And just so you know, Say Anything is my favorite band. Also, here’s a few facts about me:

    -18 years old

    -freshmen in college [Whittier College, word up]

    -i really like writing/listening to music/reading/computering/talking/eating

    -i do not sleep.

    -i ramble a lot [as you can tell]

    Okay, so here’s me trying to sound good and whatnot:

    So I just finished my first semester of college on Thursday. It’s been a really tough semester because of the fact that I got diagnosed with bipolar II disorder the third week of school and later got on the meds and was dealing with that. Just in case you didn’t know, for bipolars, it takes two weeks for the meds to kick in, and during those two weeks, the depression worsens. Oh, also, not only did I have to go through that initial two week thing, but because of a mix-up with my pharmacy, I went a week off them, and so had to go through the two week process again. It really sucked. OH, AND, because i am bipolar, I am supposed to be on mood balancers as well, but the ones my psychiatrist prescribed are $135 with my insurance, and hell no can I afford that. So basically, one of the main issues with bipolar IIs is that you can’t just put them on antidepressants, because while it helps with the depression part, it makes the mood swings worse. Which is what has been happening recently. SO BASICALLY THE POINT OF THAT WAS, this semester has been amazingly difficult. And basically, I have failed three out of five of my classes. Which is really bad. Really, really, really, really bad.

    oh, I just realized that the title fits fairly well with the post itself. Way to go Sarah. <3

    anyways. SORRY THAT THIS IS REALLY LONG. basically things have been tough. and my family is pissed off at me. and because of college my sleeping cycle is way out of whack and i dunno if i can actually sleep until three am. which isn’t good because i’m at home now [winter break, yo] and i have to go to sleep at a certain time and get up at a certain time. and yeah.
